Zia had her "friend birthday" this weekend. It was at the Y with swimming and time in their new playcenter. She had a blast. In the evening after the party she asked us, "Did I put on a good smile while they were singing Happy Birthday to me?" - just in case you're wondering what goes through a 5 year-old's mind when they're the center of attention.

Lincoln was a Sick Spider for Halloween. Everything he wears has been accessorized with snot for the past week. He's still cute though!
Check up stats: Lincoln continues his bruiser status; at 9 months he's 25.2 pounds (99%), 29.5 inches (89%). Zia, not so big: 39.25 inches (4th percentile) and 37 pounds. There is probably some complicated algebra to find out when Linc will actually be taller than Z, but I'm estimating she'll stay right ahead of him until he hits his adolescent growth spurt.

your kids are just beautiful! i can't believe z is 5! tell her happy belated bday from all of us. i know i've said it before, but i wish we lived closer...they would have so much fun together. aid wore 2 different costumes on halloween...following zia's suit. she still wants to wear them. brie was never like that! hope andy's feeling ok and work is good for you!

Happy 5th Birthday Z! If it makes you feel any better, Addi is 21 lbs at 21 months (1st percentile) and 31.5 inches. Linc is sure to pass her in height any day now too.
