Memorial Day

We have found our best Memorial Days to be lazy long weekends at home, not racing around with everyone else spending $4 gasoline to get to somewhere secluded only to find 1000 of our friends took all the other campsites. We congratulated ourselves on this decision again this year.

Zia brought the style to a letterbox outing.

Andy let her run around with the camera for awhile.  Along with 150 other pictures of stuffed animals, flowers, and carpet she got some of the best baby Lincoln smiles to date.  This may be because he loves her most of all.

Here he is, drooling away, sitting up and playing: his new favorite thing. He bites everything like a little piranha.  I can feel the swelling where his first tooth will be.  Months from now, I imagine.  

Sunday Misc.

Zia requested chicken soup with homemade noodles.  Her all time favorite.

Strange Visitor

I flew in Andy's best friend, "Uncle" D, for a surprise birthday present last weekend.  The kids were in love.

A Day in the Life: part deux

The little one has been through several outfits in the last 24 hours:

7:00 PM - Change drool-soaked outfit for clean pajamas after bath

1:30 AM - Change pee-soaked and barfed-on pajamas for a warm one-piece (all pajamas are in wash)

6:30 AM - Change poop-leaked outfit for clean

7:15 AM- ditto

11:15 AM- Change into below outfit at demand of big sister (he needed to match)

1:30 PM-Change into an outfit actually more appropriate for the 40-some degree weather (below outfit also completely drool-soaked)

7:00 PM- It's time for a bath!
