Still Alive

We're still here. I've been low on pictures since Andy always poaches the best ones for his blogs and we haven't been particularly photogenic recently. He saved me some this week though. The Easter ones are duplicates, but still cute!

Is that really my sister?

Lincoln's One!

Lincoln was a little punky on his birthday, like he's been for all major holidays so far, but that didn't keep him from eating his cake with both fists!  That powered him through his present opening like a little champ.  We missed having Grammy and Papa Robbins, but were glad to know they were making their way home after a successful surgery (and should almost be there by now!)

Lincoln shows off his skills he's acquired in the last year.

This pose is one of the reasons he's called the Governor.

Ham, Art

Lincoln has turned into quite the little poser lately.  He is our full-time entertainer.  At meals he cleans his food-covered hands on his hair, mimics Zia, and loudly demands whatever looks like the tastiest food (he has a keen eye for donuts, cookies and the like) and best of all keeps us laughing.

Wyoming has very low humidity, and Lincoln is in need of his first haircut.

Zia, as usual, is always up to something.  Recently, she has wanted to draw 'interesting' things.  This is three dragons that don't know they have spikes connected to each other and some other random animals by pipes coming out of their heads.  Obviously, we see some of her father's influence here, otherwise I might be worried, but this was all her own idea, so...

Lincoln's Teeth

Our happy boy apparently makes this face a lot when he's in front of the camera.  He is simultaneously cutting 8 teeth (to add to the 8 he already has).  The new ones include all of his first-year molars, but you wouldn't know it by his attitude!

Christmas

I can't believe I haven't posted since Thanksgiving. I think it's because Andy is always beating me to the punch and putting the good pictures up on his blog.

The kids had a great present-opening orgy.  Lincoln didn't get the mechanics of it, but Zia was happy to help (until she got jealous of a few things...)

This is my self-created, adopted, tradition.  A hand-made BĂ»che de Noel.
Merry Christmas to all, and a healthy 2009!

Zia Skis, Lincoln Eats

Zia rides the magic carpet: "It didn't go up in the sky, I want to go on the lift-off!"

This was her first ski trip/lesson and she had a great time.  Hopefully we'll all be skiing together soon!

Lincoln loves Thanksgiving.  This is a "Before and After" from the big meal.
